Hey Guys! Super excited to join the community, thanks for having me!
I had some questions on what the capital rules and requirements will be once CAP goes live.
Sometimes early ‘funds’ with low levels of capital can go through turbulence if people try to redeem/pull capital too early. Obviously, this is going to largely depend on the makeup of strategies that the operators on Eigen decide to do (i.e., RWA strategies might take longer for returns than basic MEV capturing strategies).
This means that there should be some allocation strategy on what kind of strategies CAP wants to allow, and in what timeframe investors are looking for liquidity, as this directly impacts the stablecoin’s ability to maintain its peg and fulfill redemption requests.
Does anyone have any more knowledge on how these different strategies will have different restrictions applied to the capital that is allocated to them?
As well as if there are capital minimums that are going to be implemented for depositers when we go live? I wanna join but I only have like 500 bucks in stables LOL.
This is very much like a hedge fund ‘pod’ structure. It’s pretty sick.
